Currently, we are looking for a Facilities Manager in our Princeton, NJ office. The Facilities Manager will provide operational support in real estate and facilities operations, construction and vendor/contract negotiation and building management services.
The qualified applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Tour building regularly to maintain facility standards. Oversee and be responsible for the physical condition of all facilities at designated work locations and the operation and use of all common areas.
- Receive and evaluate ServiceNow Work Order Requests and coordinate facilities work with staff, building manager or contractors. Follow up and confirm completion of all work orders.
- Manage assigned capital projects activities, contractors, and scopes of work
- Proficiency in commercial building HVAC and electrical systems operations. Schedule and oversee service vendors. Be able to respond to 24/7 emergencies.
- Respond and follow up with building manager, concerning all building temperature issues.
- Receive and evaluate requests and coordinate janitorial requirements with janitorial supervisor and/or building management
- Plan and manage internal moves, including space preparation, furniture installation, and moving vendor services
- Facilities liaison for security issues and security audits
- Assist with the development of Facilities Department policies and procedures
- Request purchasing services from the Procurement Department. Confirm that purchase orders are in place and that contracted work, services, or assets have been completed or received and invoices have been received.
- Manage conference center operations, including AV and telecom equipment and systems, rooms set-ups, and all associated services
- Manage key system for furniture & fixture and building security. Oversee creation and distribution of building access cards. Issue monthly access card activity report.
- Supervises other office services facilities staff, including mailroom and front desk
- Actively support the advancement of organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and apply diversity, equity and inclusion lens across job responsibilities.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field or 10 years facility management experience
- A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirement
- 10+ years of experience in facility or property management or other related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience using Microsoft Outlook to reserve rooms and coordinate cross-office meetings
- Familiarity with ticket-based service requests systems such as ServiceNow
Various federal agencies with whom we contract require that staff successfully undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a condition of working on the project. If you are assigned to such a project, you will be required to obtain the requisite security clearance.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $70,000-$105,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
