Facilities Maintenance Assistant
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Facilities Maintenance Assistant maintains and oversees Bank grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. Duties include inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations, facilities repairs, and coordinating renovations and updates. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Assistant provides support for security systems and Mobile Units.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain role as primary contact for service request.
2. Point of contact for landlord queries and escalations.
3. Create, update, and maintain processes and procedures.
4. Conduct site inspections and compile inspection templates.
5. General interior maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, and repair doors.
6. Assist the Operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
7. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
8. Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary.
9. Oversee cleanliness of Mobile Units including but not limited to, outside wash, empty tanks, and windows.
10. Regularly check vehicle safety such as tires, brakes, turn signals, mechanical equipment, etc.
11. Assist with Inspection of vehicle(s) thoroughly before and after each trip.
12. Communicate any issues to the Director of Facilities.
13. Assist with delivery of Mobile Unit to the garage for normal generator service or other maintenance required on the vehicle.
14. Assisting with the loading and unloading of the bus when required.
15. Comply with local traffic regulations.
16. Report delays or accidents.
17. Fuel and add DEF to Mobile Unit as necessary.
18. Maintain a clean area where the vehicles are parked.
19. Comply with all safety procedures and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
20. Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
21. Practice defensive driving at all times.
22. Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide interoffice mail service between Bank locations.
2. Support Physical Security as needed.
3. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Three to five years buildings maintenance or construction experience.
2. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite and computer use.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with training experience.
4. Basic understanding of electrical and other systems.
5. Working knowledge of tools and devices.
6. Experience driving vehicles 34 feet in size or larger.
7. High School Diploma or equivalent.
8. Authorization to work in the United States.
9. Valid Driver’s License.
10. Clean Driving Record.
11. Reliable transportation.
12. Ability to read, write, and speak using the English language.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Working knowledge of Recreational Vehicles preferred.
2. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired.

16. Body and motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from inside the mobile Unit to outside the Mobile Unit.
17. Digital dexterity and eye/hand coordination in the operation of Mobile Unit.

Physical Requirements
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force
frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

Mental
Capable of maintaining alertness while operating Mobile Unit

Conditions
The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
