What You Will Do:

Attain Partners is searching for a Grants - Facilities and Administration Consultant with experience working in the higher education industry. This individual will effectively lead and manage activities surrounding business solutions impacting cost reimbursement, business process modernization, technology implementations, and change management for higher education institutions and not-for-profits.

  • Experience and expertise in facilities and maintenance operations, project management, event operation logistics and compliance with safety regulations
  • Preparation of indirect cost rate proposals.
  • Perform business process design and documentation for modernization of operations and procedures.
  • Perform stakeholder and change impact assessments
  • Stakeholder engagement and training plans that align with technology implementation and is comprehensive of all stakeholders
  • Manage all change activities throughout all stages of implementation
  • Demonstrate experience in effectively managing change at an organization


Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Delivery
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise related to the operating environment of major business functions across a University
  • Accomplishes work through managing and leading others
  • Provides leadership to both consulting and client personnel to identify, quantify, and implement strategic recommendations
  • Effectively direct, coach, motivate and evaluate analysts and associates
  • Develop work plans and coordinate daily fieldwork and project team activities
  • Oversee multiple work streams
  • Assist in preparation of client deliverables
  • Conduct client interviews related to major operational functions
  • Lead and focus team efforts in data gathering and analysis, data interpretation, and identifying observations and recommendations
  • Lead the development and implementation of surveys, interview questionnaires and client presentation deliverables
  • Lead team efforts in developing solutions to client challenges across major business functions
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) to a variety of audiences, including C-suite client leadership
  • Establishes and maintains client relationships and takes a leadership role to act as an influencer to client and Steering Committee as appropriate
  • Monitor scope of client expectations surrounding delivery of generated results
  • Assist with Business Development activities related to grants management/facilities and administration

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in grants management/facilities and administration for Higher Education or Non-Profits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a project team
  • Demonstrates ability to stay current in certifications, training and industry trends and practices
  • Embraces entrepreneurial spirit in work through recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities to improve the organization
  • Ability to recognize personal skills, abilities, limitations, and strengths, taking appropriate action to pursue developmental activities to strengthen skills and experience
  • Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience
  • Experience with managing and leading times

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Experience supporting sales and business development
  • Experience with Financial management
  • Experience with Facilities management
