Job Summary

Our Buildings & Grounds Department is looking for a full time Facilities Analyst. The Analyst will support the Director of the Department in the preparation of construction contracts, purchase requisitions, and all other necessary tasks for facility and construction projects in the District. Requirements / Qualifications

The following documents should be attached to your application upon submittal:

  • Copy of Transcript (Transcript showing completion of two years of college course work. If you do not have a transcript, please attach a summary of your additional equivalent experience.)
  • DMV Printout (DMV driver record: A driver record obtained online from the CA DMV website is acceptable - must be current)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (At least 1 signed letters from a professional reference (preferably drafted within the past two years, and on letterhead))
  • Resume (A current resume with dates of employment in each position held.)

Comments and Other Information

An internal screening process will assess candidate eligibility to proceed in the recruitment process. Qualified candidates will be invited to an exam, and may be invited to an oral board interview with a passing score on the exam. Exam and interview scores will be weighted and combined for a final score and rank. The top three ranks will be invited to a hiring interview, date TBD. Fingerprint and TB clearance will be required prior to hire. SPECIAL NOTES: 1) Correctly filling out forms and following other instructions contained in this notice are part of the testing process. 2) Applicants with disabilities need to notify the Personnel Office of any special needs so that adequate preparation may be made for their testing. 3) Veterans qualifying for the oral board examination may receive 5 additional points added to their final score if proof of discharge is submitted at time of oral board interview. A "veteran" as used here means any person who served in the United States armed forces in time of war, or national emergency. 4) Eligibility lists are established for a period of six months. 5) This is a dual examination in which the resulting eligibility list shall consist of promotional and open competitive candidates.
