Job description

Machine Builders are responsible for building complex custom machines from start to finish. This individual should have experience assembling machines using blueprints. This position provides a new experience with each project.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assemble complex custom machines start to finish
• Tear down and re-assemble equipment in the field
• Fabricate parts from blueprints
• Service equipment
• Misc. tasks as assigned by machine assembly supervisor
• Use problem solving skills to participate in correcting issues with project managers and engineering
• Use of precision tools
• Maintain Wauseon Machine equipment (secondary responsibility)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience assembling complex custom machines start to finish required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Blueprint reading
• Must own tools (tool fund program available)
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• Pneumatic and hydraulic experience (preferred)
• General machinist skills (preferred)
• Forklift license (preferred)

About Us:

Wauseon Machine specializes in Precision Machining, Custom Robotic Automation, and Tube Forming Technologies. Our Automation Division is responsible for the design, build, and prove out of industrial equipment, including robotic automation cells and industrial machine tools. Our custom equipment and robotic applications include, but are not limited to, Assembly, Dispensing, Machine Tending, Material Handling, and Palletizing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
