Position Title: Industrial Painter - Metal & Plastic Job Description

Pay: $23 - $35 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm, Friday 7am - 3:30pm

We are looking for an experienced and competent Industrial Painter. Must be able to work with great concentration and precision, have an eye for detail, be able to trouble-shoot, and have great mechanical aptitude. This individual will be heavily influential in determining significant capital investment for professional paint line equipment including paint booth as part of a certified NADCAP metal finishing company.

Responsibilities

· Prep and Prime metal materials

· Paint metal materials using paint booth and LPHV spray guns.

· Verify masking completed as required to meet print.

· Verify parts cleaned properly prior to paint application.

· Spray parts to be painted.

· Selects and mixes paint to produce desired colors.

· Paints parts to approved quality standards.

· Inspecting coated parts.

· Perform measurements and visual inspection to ensure that the product meets customer specifications/standards.

· Maintains booth floors, walls and filters.

· Cleans spraying equipment.

· Keeps area clean.

· Clean up of work tools and area.

Skills

· Experience reading blueprints, mechanical drawings for masking requirements, and paint application.

· At least 1 year of coating (wet paint) experience

· Self-motivated, hardworking, able to keep up with fast-paced production requirements.

· Attentive to detail and quality of work

· Goal-oriented with a willingness to learn.

· Report to work on time and ready to perform tasks.

· Able to lift and carry moderately heavy objects (50lbs+) and a regular basis.

· A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

· Good communication abilities.

· High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
