Shift: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 11AM to 1PM

The community you'll be caring for: Sports Medicine and Rehab Patients
The role you'll contribute:
The Exercise Physiologist Provides direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the Outpatient Rehabilitation and Wellness Centers. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med & Rehab Department. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you'll bring to the team:
- Coordinates exercise program including referral proceedings, scheduling, program planning and exercise supervision to achieve the goals of the Rehabilitation Department, patient/client and Physician.
- Provides appropriate documentation of all proceedings to ensure program quality and meet hospital and department standards. Also records additional pertinent information in notes and other appropriate forms at time of occurrence.
- Performs and interprets the results of the physiological assessment accurately. Recognizes high-risk individuals and designs/refers appropriate exercise prescription.
- Maintains patient/client safety by explaining and demonstrating correct exercise technique and equipment use, closely supervising all activities and discontinuing patient’s exercise if condition warrants.
- Educates and leads wellness participants and community members in all wellness related topics and exercise classes
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
