Executive Sous Chef – High-Volume Restaurant
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + benefits, 401k and paid vacation days!
Location: New York, New York
About the Role:
Are you ready to work for a world-renowned restaurant brand? We are very excited to be working with this high volume, full-service restaurant group that is known for their excellent food, guest experience and quality of service. This company is constantly expanding, and they are looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join their fun team.
- Manage the culinary operations in a busy kitchen
- Nurture relationships with vendors to get the best turnaround times for procurement
- Build outstanding teams of professionals that work cohesively across the board
- Ensure standards are met and enforced
- Implement and maintains routine cleaning procedures
- Must be knowledgeable of Department of Health regulations and standards
- Ensure team member practices comply with standards
- Prior experience in a corporate restaurant preferred
- Comes from a very high-volume dining experience
- Excellent proven career stability with 2 + years in prior roles
- Not afraid to take the lead in new projects
- Be highly adaptive, charismatic, and be receptive to the opinions of your guests
- Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
