Executive Housekeeper

Location: Big Sky, Montana - Live Out

Type: Full Time - 40 hours (Some Weekend Work)

OPPORTUNITY:

Exclusive Private Estate Management company is looking for an experienced, detail minded, high energy Executive Housekeeper who is professional, proactive and absolutely reliable. Must have a strong work ethic, be able and willing to perform all tasks, handle flexible schedules, oversee and train additional housekeepers. This position is for the care and cleaning of a number of gorgeous homes in a small mountain community, and responsibilities include arrival & departure cleaning, organizational and inventory items, high/deep maintenance cleaning, and daily services with Client interaction.

Qualifications:

• Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, dedication to responsibilities and close-knit team
• Understand the importance of maintaining discretion and Client privacy (confidentiality agreement and background check required)
• Thorough knowledge of household cleaning tools and techniques, special surfaces, mounts, artwork and antiques, along with a careful and protective approach to the job

· Must be proficient at pressing linens and clothing.

• Ability to multi-task effectively and work with estate manager to reprioritize initiatives throughout the day, week, month, year.
• Professional and energetic worker with a friendly, calm demeanor and positive attitude
• Able to manage schedules, assess and assign tasks, flexible with changing Client schedules and requests
• Can graciously accept feedback and apply knowledge learned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10+ years of recent and consistent full-time housekeeper experience
• 2-3 references from prior positions
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
• Clean driver’s license and background check
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to climb stairs, reach, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, crawl, climb a ladder, lift, push and pull required load (approximately 30 lbs).
• Technology: email & text messages, Googgle Docs and other Apps
• Seeking longevity / long term commitment (e.g., at least 2-5+ years and ideally longer)
• Safe vehicle tor transportation to get to and from work daily, including winter driving
• Live a commutable proximity to residences in Big Sky, Montana or willingness to relocate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meticulous daily cleaning including all aspects of general housekeeping, seasonal high/deep cleaning, daily service with family interaction, stocking and upkeep of the residence
• Care of special surfaces and art (woods, glass, leather, mounts, upholstery, silver, etc.)
• Provide on site laundry services including ironing sheets, table linens, and clothing, sorting, steaming, drying and folding expertise, with proficiency in the care and stain treatment of a variety of fabrics (e.g., cottons/linens, silks, synthetics, etc.)
• Support private chef team with kitchen clean up throughout the day

· Manage and organize closets and storage areas

• Maintain the residence for guest readiness at all times
• Empty and sanitize trash containers and container room
• Garage cabinets, closets, counters, fridge/freezers, sports equipment, floors
• Exterior areas including furniture, grills, entertainment areas, door thresholds, flowerpots
• Proficient with glass, mirrors, glassware
• Change linens, make beds, set towels and pillows according to specific expectations
• Pack and unpack Clients for travel
• Keep cleaning supply and household inventory, communicate and shop as necessary
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements to estate manager
• Kitchen details: hanging racks, pantry, appliances, stove grills and venting, copper sinks
• Manage dry cleaning, dry cleaning inventory, and inspect clothing and linens upon return
• Responsible for organizational projects, high/deep cleaning, inventory & shopping
