The Homestead is looking for an Executive Director to lead our assisted living community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Homestead is a growing community offering assisted living and transitional care services to seniors in D’Iberville, MS. We pride ourselves on the quality of care and personalized service we provide to our residents. The Executive Director oversees all aspects of the community and works hands-on with residents, employees, visitors, and government agencies.

An ideal candidate would possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or health science related degree (preferred)
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or similar field (required)
• Thorough knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to Assisted Living and/or Long-Term Care Communities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of services
• Establish a working relationship with family members, regulatory agencies, and community advocates.
• Oversee the overall management and the day-to-day operations
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage the hiring, training and supervision of qualified staff
