Executive Director General Services (Facilities/ M&O/PC#253137)

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Business Official or designee, plan, organize, direct, administer, review and evaluate District-wide facilities, maintenance, operations and services encompassing facilities planning, construction and maintenance, hazardous materials management, energy management, property management, architectural services, custodial and grounds maintenance, and general operational services. Exercise independent authority within the scope of responsibilities. Supervisory scope of the assignment includes appropriate staff working in facilities, maintenance, and operations. Acts as liaison with other District department directors and various city, county, state and federal agencies in relation to the Facilities, Maintenance and operations activities at the District.

Salary: $140,066 - $173,797 Annually in 7 Steps. + $2,000 yr Master's Degree Stipend, $1,200yr Doctoral Additional.

Experience/Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or construction management; and five years of increasingly responsible experience in trades/construction or project management, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity, are required. Experience in a related field above the five year requirement may be substituted for years of educational experience on a two-year experience equals one-year of education basis.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required
Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
