Who we’re looking for:

We’re hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Founder & CEO of Edible®. In this role, you are the right arm to the Founder & CEO, providing dynamic and invaluable support and advancement in every dimension of his work, from scheduling and correspondence to research and strategy. You will be active in vetting internal and external requests and ensuring timely management of all inquiries, directing and collecting assignments to and from appropriate staff as guided by the CEO, taking the lead on researching and briefing preparation, managing scheduling, and spearheading special projects and events as assigned by the CEO. You will be the voice and tone for the CEO often, so you should have and maintain the presence, gravitas, and EQ to interact and interface with our external stakeholders, senior leaders and staff members on a wide range of programmatic and operational projects.


How you’ll make an impact:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the executive office of the CEO including drafting correspondence, scheduling, planning, scribing and tracking follow-up with external and internal meetings of senior leadership, the Board of Directors and major donors.
  • Perform a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an extremely active calendar, processing expense reports, arranging travel plans, answering phones, and preparing itineraries and agendas for meetings.
  • Plan, coordinate and ensure the CEO’s schedule is followed.
  • Work closely with the CEO to keep him well informed of any upcoming commitments and following up as appropriate.
  • Prioritize any conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow-through on projects or initiatives of the Office of the CEO.
  • Provide a bridge for robust communication between the Office of the CEO and internal departments.
  • Collaborate with various senior leaders and team members to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience
  • A fast learner with an uncanny ability to anticipate what is needed, and you don’t wait for someone else to ask you to do something - you beat everyone else to getting it done
  • When it comes to your work, you are hyper-organized with a keen attention to detail
  • You are a strong project manager who can move back and forth between different projects while prioritizing effectively
  • Building relationships is one of your core competencies. You care about delivering top-notch customer service, teamwork, and demonstrating that you care about supporting all stakeholders’ needs
  • You have a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
