Who We Are
WaterSaver Faucet Co. manufactures precision valves and faucets for use in science laboratories. Our sister company, Guardian Equipment, manufactures emergency eyewash and shower equipment for laboratory and industrial applications. Both companies are third-generation family-owned businesses that are the leaders in their respective industries.
WaterSaver and Guardian are both located in the River West area of Chicago. We have two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities totaling 200,000 square feet. Both facilities are LEED-Gold certified for energy efficiency and sustainability, are easily accessed from the Kennedy Expressway (I90) and public transportation, and have gated off-street parking.

What You Will Do
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the owner and CEO of our companies. This position has two themes. First, you will provide a wide variety of administrative, organizational, and moral support to the CEO. Second, you will develop and manage an array of corporate communications, publications, and events for internal and external audiences.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage calendar, communications (email, phone, correspondence, etc.), and documents for CEO.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, and events for the management team.
- Prepare reports and handle special projects relating to company operations and management.
- Develop internal company communications including newsletters, announcements, and social media postings.
- Coordinate town hall meetings, recognition events, and employee development programs.
- Assist with communications to customers and other external audiences.
- Everything else.
What You Will Bring
- B.A. degree
- 5+ years as an administrative assistant, preferably in a privately-owned corporate environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite products.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities, and a willingness to jump into any situation.
- Great work ethic with the ability to work under pressure.
- Resiliency and a good sense of humor.
