General Summary:
The Executive Assistant conserves the President & CEO or Chairman’s time and promotes the corporate image internally and externally. Also serves as the liaison between the President & CEO or Chairman, key executives and employees. This position will also assist the General Counsel in some day to day functions and special projects.
Essential Job Functions:
- Welcomes visitors, reviews correspondences, arranges company dinners and other corporate functions; answers questions and meeting requests directed to the President & CEO
- Manages workload, acts as the gatekeeper and follows up on meetings with internal and external clients/contacts
- Arranges corporate travel and meetings
- Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation from others, monitoring progress, problem-solving and making adjustments to plans.
- Improves results by evaluating and re-designing processes and implementing changes, as needed
- Enhances President & CEO’s and corporation’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant capacity with C-level management
Skills/Competencies:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills along with good judgment and decision making ability
- Shows initiative
