Title: Event Security Officer

Location: Omaha, NE

Hours & Compensation:

• Every Thursday starting May 25-August: 6:00pm-11:00pm @ $18.00/hour

OR

• The last Friday of every month from May-August: 2:00pm-10:30pm @ $15.00/hour

This position is an event security officer position. If you decide after being hired for events that you would like a part-time or full-time job with Signal, that is an option available as well.

Responsibilities:

The officer will perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site specific post orders. These duties may include:

• Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors
• Enforcement of Client and Company policies and procedures
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards
• Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around the area
• Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the site supervisor, the client and/or other management as necessary
• Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, employees and the general public
• Other duties as assigned

This position may require work inside and/or outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and potentially lifting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Must be able to maintain site specific security orders
• Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a working and functional smart phone with data to conduct reports
• Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to work

High School Diploma or GED is required.
