Summary: The Event/Claim Analyst/Assistant functions primarily as a data manager with responsibility for maintaining all facets of the Quantros SRM database, Patient Safety Reporting System, STARS Claim reporting and active Professional Liability Insurance rosters. The Analyst is responsible for coordination/operation/maintenance/troubleshooting of computer systems/applications within the Risk Management and Patient Relations Department. The Analyst / Assistant manages system processes for the purposes of data entry, data submission, report development, system updates, importing and exporting of information to meet internal and external requirements. The position is responsible to analyze and generate data to support risk management, medical staff and patient safety initiatives. The Analyst/Assistant collaborates with the Director other members of the department, directors and managers of all departments, CPG Directors, and other members of the Organization for report training and development to support performance excellence and patient safety initiatives.

Required:. High school and post secondary training in business-related field. Three years’ experience in medical field. Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet applications.
