Evening and Weekend Supervisor, Youth Residence
Job description
The Evening and Weekend Supervisor ensures that the residents are cared for in a safe and therapeutic environment and are adequately supervised. They are responsible for managing operations during the evening and weekend hours, crisis intervention, communication with OMH and other oversight entities in the absence of the Residence Manager and other supervisory responsibilities as delegated by the Residence Manager.
Qualifications:
- 7 Years or more of relevant child welfare or youth services experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field required.
- Therapeutic recreation and National Council Therapeutic Recreation Certification eligibility is preferred.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as well as other shifts as needed
- Experience working with youth with serious emotional disturbance.
- Experience working with families of youth with serious emotional disturbance.
- NYS Driver’s License.

Work schedule: Full-time
Base salary: $55,000/year
