Job Description

The ETL Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data ingestion and transformation solutions that will be utilized in reporting, analytics, or within other applications. The position will also perform data analysis, construct technical designs, communicate with team members and business stakeholders, and support existing data ingestion and transformation pipelines. This position will also coordinate and review the work activities of offshore development and support resources.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Perform analysis of business requirements and develop logical and physical data models for data warehouse to support them

· Provide guidance in the administration of the Matillion ETL tool including developing best practices of development, administering security, developing job scheduling and monitoring techniques.

· Analyze business/functional requirements, review the solution architecture, and develop the technical architecture and detailed design

· Analyze data issues, identify and articulate the business impact of data problems

· Perform code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural standards, guidelines, best practices, and meet quality standards

· Deploy the solution on a high-availability shared service production environment

· Understand and comply with the established software development life cycle methodology

· Establish and enhance technical guidelines and best practices for the integration development team

· Utilize subject matter expertise in area of enterprise applications, solutions to evaluate complex, sensitive business problems and architect technical solutions

· Keep current with industry technologies and tools in the integration domain

· Act as the key interface between business and technology teams in defining and influencing business requirements and assists in developing the appropriate data-feeds /batch integration solutions between Internal applications, & with third parties

Skills & Experience

· Experience with orchestration in the Azure environment.

· Snowflake data warehouse experience.

· Azure DevOps experience.

· GitHub experience.

· Azure Blob Storage / ADLS experience with Data Storage, Analysis.

· Data modeling experience.

· Experience working with both structured and semi-structured data sources.

· JavaScript and Python for stored procedures and scripting.

· Experience leading offshore resources.

· Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and other relevant certifications.
