ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot and optimize current ESP fleet while reducing downtime and providing training to lease operators.

• Ability to diagnose drive and downhole issues and make surface repairs, as necessary.
• Be on site for drive commissioning ensuring that new ESPs are started in a consistent, efficient, and safe manner.
• Ensure that standard operating procedures concerning ESPs are followed and understood at the field level.
• Supervise ESP operations including preparation, installation, and commissioning.
• Participate in ESP tear downs and failure analysis, as required.
• Review ESP invoices and track costs.
• Daily surveillance of ESP trends on multiple vendor platforms.
• Support production operations as a frontline resource on all ESP related issues.
• Participate in well review sessions regarding ESPs.
• Ensure quarterly Service Quality Meetings are held and follow-up actions properly executed.
• Work closely with Production Engineering to optimize ESP installations.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

• Five or more years of experience in oil and gas field ESP operations.
• Safety sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
• Valid driver’s license.

SKILLS:

• Strong history of conducting safe and environmentally conscious operations with an awareness of regulatory, State, and Federal regulations.
• EHS experience/background; must be able to demonstrate competencies with respect to EHS in multiple field operations.
• Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, invoicing & accounting systems.

On worksite locations, incumbents must be able to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes and flame-resistant clothing. Safety rules, including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives; risk of radiation and vibration.
