Escrow Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist/Accounting Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:

Full-time position available with a Sacramento-based land investment and management company. Individual should have a high level of professionalism, pleasant personality, and discretion as to he or she will be the person to greet and assist a variety of guests. Responsible for operating multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directing callers. Acts as the point person in the company for administrative duties, assisting management and other staff members.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a positive, pleasant and professional attitude
  • Welcomes on-site visitors and announce them to appropriate personnel
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel
  • General Business Office Administrative duties
  • Assist escrow manager with maintaining files and records
  • Desire to work in accounting department

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School or GED required
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Requires the ability to work while functioning under the stress of problem solving and time sensitive deadlines
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • General accounting skills a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and calculator. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
