• Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
• Location: Everett, MA
• Union: 1908
• Pay: $32.45 per hour with $1.00 shift differential ($33.45 per hour)
• Union Benefits: Listed below in additional benefits
• Schedule: Monday - Friday from 2pm to 12am (8-10 hour shifts with frequent Saturdays)
• Hoisting License 2A/1C is preferred but not required & the ability to operate several different pieces of equipment
• Working Conditions: Metal Recycling Facility / Outside all year

Essential Functions of the Heavy Equipment Operator

• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies
• Sorting and grading of incoming metal deliveries from suppliers and customers
• Facilitating production efficiency and productivity while never accepting lower quality
• Works together with other team members, and transportation companies

Qualifications:

• Experience with Sennebogans
• Hoisting License 2A/1C required
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
