ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsibilities

• Field data collection (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas sampling)
• Observe and document site construction activities for compliance
• Observe and document drilling activities (soil borings and monitoring well installation)
• Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization
• Conduct building material inventories, and site assessments
• Assist with writing technical reports, correspondence, notes and memoranda

• Ability to work in field and office settings
• General understanding of building construction and mechanical/electrical systems
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated, with strong ability to problem solve and work independently
• ArcGIS experience/coursework preferred

• 0-1 years of environmental consulting experience, whether through coursework or professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related field
