We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Boston, MA. The Environmental Project Manager will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects largely in urban environments. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions-What You Will Do

• Prepare proposals and project budgets.
• Manage project budgets and prepare invoices.
• Manage and supervise staff engineers and scientists.
• Set technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
• Coordinate with project team members and clients.
• Plan and coordinate field investigation programs.
• Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
• Manage preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
• Formulate conclusions, recommendations, and strategies to bring sites to closure.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of five to seven years relevant experience and a BS in Civil Engineering (Environmental Focus) or Geology or five years relevant experience and a MS in Civil Engineering (Environmental Focus) or Geology.
• Possess or be working toward Professional Engineering or Professional Geologist Licensure.
• Possess or be working toward Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) registration.
• Solid understanding of release mechanisms, contaminant fate and transport, assessment techniques and remediation approaches.
• Experience providing MCP consulting services for urban development projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
• Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours. Hybrid Option.
• Located in Boston, MA.
• Local travel within the greater Boston area is required.
