Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
  • Stainless Steel TIG Welding down to 14ga. Thickness
  • Stainless Steel MIG Welding down to 14ga. Thickness
  • Able to Arc/Stick weld carbon and/or stainless steel down to 1/8” thickness
  • Non-Complex Welding of fabricated parts
  • Complete understanding of the requirements related to semi-complex fit up assignments
  • Operate Shear, Punch and other fabrication related equipment
  • Ability to operate the notcher, press and saws
  • Able to debur and perform other surface finishes
  • Can handle and operate standard Fabrication hand tools, ie. Drills, grinders,etc.
  • Ability to read and understand Non-Complex Mechanical Fabrication Drawings and Bill of Materials
  • Must be able to perform Non-Complex Layout and Fit Up skills
  • Requires daily training assistants from Level II or above fabricators
  • Must Clock in and out of Jobs and Work Orders to keep accurate labor hours
  • Assist Assembly as needed
  • Assist Machine Shop as needed
  • Assist Service Department as needed
  • Back up support for the Smoker
  • Keep working area organized and clean
  • Other activities required as needed to meet the required ship dates
  • Must be willing and capable of working overtime as needed

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
  • Experienced in Fabrication or related activities.
  • Some Computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to operate typical fabrication hand tools.
  • Certified Forklift operator.
  • Above average ability to learn.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Regularly lift up to 50lbs, stand for periods of time, specific vision abilities required (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)

Expected Hours of Work
6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Manager’s discretion)
(0.5 hours lunch)

Travel
Limited travel as needed
