Ophthalmic Technician
Columbus, Ohio

As an ophthalmic technician, you will be trained to perform patient histories, complete requested ophthalmic testing, and consistently provide superior customer service to patients.

Erdey Searcy Eye Group, part of Vision Integrated Partners, is a fast-paced multi-doctor ophthalmology practice located in Columbus, Ohio. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Medical practice experience required.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong relationships and communicate with warmth and caring.

Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex concepts.

Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Problem-solving skills.
Able to handle multiple simultaneous projects efficiently and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing exceptional customer service and communication to patients and providers.
Gathering medical records and patient information.
Taking ocular measurements (both anatomical and functional) and performing testing.
Maintaining equipment.
Providing patients with eye care information.
Assisting ophthalmologists as needed.

The compensation range for this position is $18-20/hour, dependent upon skills and experience.
