Responsibilities:
- Field collection of transportation assets utilizing the latest data collection technologies
- Office collection of transportation assets utilizing cutting-edge office extraction software
- Utilizing ESRI software such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro
- Creating maps and analyzing GIS data to aid Engineers in their decision-making
- Building interactive web maps in ArcGIS Online
- Working on a Project Team that creates GIS solutions for co-workers and clients
Qualifications:
- BS in Geography, Environmental Science, or comparable degree
- 0-2 years of experience in the GIS or engineering field is a plus
- Must be organized with exceptional time management skills
- Proficiency in using Esri GIS products is preferable
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
