Job Description
Cognosante is seeking a Business Analyst Subject Matter Expert to support Enterprise Cloud Integration Services for our customer. As part of this role, he/she must develop an in-depth understanding of the customer’s business processes, user profiles, solution objectives, expectations, and priorities and be able to articulate and effectively communicate those topics to the implementation teams in the form of both use cases and user stories. The successful candidate will have experience in eliciting requirements, translating requirements to user stories, elaborating processes into use cases and assist in mapping business functionality to system technical requirements as well as writing a variety of associated design and requirements documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Agile team(s) to facilitate cloud management platform development and testing in support of self-services, automation, orchestration, integrated billing, reporting and integration requirements
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to prioritize applications for modernization decisions and support technical planning
  • Provides cloud management platform support to business users and end-users
  • Provides guidance on system or workflow modifications and changes needed to support operational, program and/or regulatory compliance
  • Support detailed assessments for cloud modernization and migration efforts
  • Participates in the modification of existing applications and/or the implementation of new platforms by developing, writing, and disseminating procedures that utilize new or changed applications.
  • Use business requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and help manage project scope, product acceptance, installation, and production deployment
  • Conduct ongoing risk/impact assessments and provide support throughout the project to determine potential challenges/barriers and identify corresponding risk mitigation strategies
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Required Qualifications
  • BA or BS and 8 years of specific experience relevant to the specific position
  • Experience working in in a Federal Government environment
  • Experience working with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems
  • Ability to demonstrate solution features to stakeholders, share knowledge, and provide tool and process guidance
  • Demonstrated success in eliciting business requirements and process flows
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Cloud experience in AWS or Azure
  • Experience working in an DevSecOps environment

  • Experience working in U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency
Compensation
$125,866.00 - $201,386.00
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
