Job Summary:

The position of Engineering Principal specialist is responsible for managing the overhead budgets for various engineering directorates. Responsibilities include establishing budgets, monthly variance reporting and analysis. The successful candidate for this role should possess strong financial acumen, ability to formulate annual overhead/staffing budgets along with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• The candidate should be able to both work both independently and collaborate in a team environment
• Must be able to effectively to multitask within a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Candidate must be able to develop strong and effective working relationships with various business partners at various levels cross functionally
• The individual must have a mindset of continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all aspects of the job

Qualifications you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field of study.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a related role, or an Advanced Degree and 3+ years experience.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint/Access).

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
