ABOUT SAFEGARD: The Safegard Group, Inc. is a regional insurance and risk management broker located in Media, PA. Safegard is a leading, full-service insurance broker and risk management consulting firm, who are well-established with a reputation for honesty, integrity, unsurpassed service and groundbreaking business solutions. The Safegard Group, Inc. is recruiting for a full time Employee Benefits Account Executive/Manager. Safegard is a growing agency that offers a dynamic work environment for high energy, motivated, team-oriented employees. Salary will be commensurate with successful candidate’s background and experience.
OVERVIEW: The Employee Benefits Account Executive/Manager will be responsible for leading in the implementation, service, and marketing of new and active employee benefits clients.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist in the review and design of Employee Benefits products including: fully insured and self-insured medical plans, worksite products, group life, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental and vision coverage
- Communicate and assist customers with understanding of and taking action on laws affecting Employee Benefits and Human Resources including: FMLA, ACA, and ERISA
- Request new business policy corrections and help clients resolve claims/billing issues
- Maintain accurate records within agency management system and electronic files
- Identify areas for process improvement within Employee Benefits department
- Assist in the preparation of client facing presentations and meeting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Licensed Life & Health Producer
- Professional Designation a plus but not required
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Knowledge of Vertafore ® BenefitPoint a plus but not required
- Knowledge of Employee Navigator a plus but not required
