Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an Emergency Services Technician (EMT-B) join our friendly, hard-working team for the following shifts:

  • Emergency Department, PRN/Contingent.
  • Pay starts at $17.74/hr+ based on experience.
  • Shift Differential pay up to $6.00/hr.

Who We Are

HVCH is a 25 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a 10 bed geriatric psych unit, and a Rural Health Clinic with Family and Pediatric services. We have over 325 employees who serve the residents and visitors of rural Logan, Ohio. HVCH has various ancillary and 24-hour emergency care services offering excellent health and well-being aide to Hocking County and surrounding areas. We are nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills Region in southeastern Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network. We Require

  • EMT-B required or in the process of obtaining (ask about our Grow Your Own program).
  • CPR approved by the American Heart Association or obtain within the first 30 days of employment, onsite, and provided by the hospital.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (or within 6 months of hire) approved by the Crisis Prevention Institute, onsite, and provided by the hospital.
  • One year medical office or clerical experience
  • Excellent typing and personal computer skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Excellent organization skills
