We are looking for an Eligibility Analyst (PSERS Premium Assistance). The Eligibility Analyst is responsible for updating premium assistance data and providing exceptional customer service to support the needs of the business and our clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Process Premium Assistance (PA) applications, terminations and adjustments
- Complete all necessary reports, spreadsheets and collection documentation
- Participate in the collection and pension adjustment process
- Participate in training, testing and evaluation of systems and procedures
- Interact directly with clients to efficiently handle/rectify member's issues and questions
- Participate in the yearly PA verification process, including school district and annuitant follow-ups.
- Participate in yearly Option Selection/Open Enrollment Period processes and workflow reassignments, assisting the PSERS Eligibility team as necessary during this period.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience working in healthcare or insurance operations preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow documented procedures
- High attention to detail
- Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills required.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers on a consistent basis.
- Capable of working in an environment that requires organization and prioritization in order to address time sensitive assignments
- Ability to use basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Flexibility; open to change
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience working with senior population a plus.
