We are looking for an Electronics Technician to join our consulting team at a customer site in Coopersburg, PA. Actalent has had a team on site for over a decade, allowing our consultants to work on development projects for high end home automation and lighting systems. Electronics Technician

Our technicians work in a hands-on environment as members of cross functional engineering teams- supporting the development of new products. They work closely with engineers and can be involved in the product development process from initial concept, through development and testing. Project work involves extensive product testing and troubleshooting. This includes circuit design, analysis, electrical stress, and life testing and validating proper integration with other devices.

As part of their career path, they can rotate through multiple engineering teams, gaining exposure to the broad range of technologies employed in our products. Some of these technologies include power electronics, analog and digital electronics, RF technology, standards qualifications, and embedded micro-controller programming.

Duties may include:

• Extensive design verification testing of analog and digital circuits.
• Circuit prototyping and troubleshooting.
• Product compliance testing.
• Electrical stress testing.
• Product standards verification.
• Component specification and qualification.
• Transition new designs from engineering into manufacturing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2- or 4-year degree in Electronics Technology, Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology, or equivalent degree
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of electricity and basic wiring
• Hands-on experience working with electronics preferred
• Strong interest in testing, design, and troubleshooting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
