2.1.2. Electronic Technician -
Role:
Provide AFLCMC/HNC, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) non-personal services for logistics and technical support. As an electronics technician, you will utilize a broad knowledge of electronic equipment principles, techniques, and a thorough knowledge of digital and analog circuitry; You will be responsible for providing component diagnostics, repair, and functional check out for electronic assets and stock management for all bench stock type items needed for component repair.

AFLCMC/HNC is a one-of-a-kind Air Force activity operating from a single geographic location that provides life-cycle management for information assurance and other critical systems. The Division also sustains AF/DoD national force protection and intelligence systems required by the nation to mobilize, deploy, support, and sustain operations. The programs requiring product support are COMSEC Products, Force Protect (FP), Weapons Storage Security System (WS3), Technical Applications Products (TAP), Bounty Hunter (BH), COMSEC Maintenance, and Production Support Management Office.
Duties:
- Maintain work-center and individual safety requirements.
- Complete an estimated average of 50 repairs per month.
- Provide expertise during systems development and conduct operations and acceptance testing of tactical radio equipment.
- Maintain and manage shop test measurement diagnostic equipment in accordance with the established Precision Measurement Equipment Lab (PMEL) policy.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Possess necessary skills and qualifications to fully complete the required tasks
- Be fully functional in their positions with a minimal amount of organizational mission and culture training required
