Textron Systems-Electronic Systems is looking for an entry level electronics assembler for production of newly developed and legacy products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electronic /electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes including precision electrical, mechanical, cable and harness assemblies.
• Will work under the guidance of and provide assistance to senior Technicians and other staff members.
• Perform tasks in preparation for assembly such as verify bill of material parts and inspection of pre-assembled parts.
• Maintain a safe lab assembly environment by following applicable practices/processes.
• Develop skills by leaning component, sub-system and systems level testing, including performance of system calibrations.
• Work with engineers to assist in the development of new products or processes, as applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be team oriented and able to communicate and interface with others to execute manufacturing schedules.
• Possess the ability to comprehend assembly instructions, procedures, basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with tools necessary to fabricate and test electronic circuitry.
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry.
• IPC certified or able to obtain certification in J-STD-001 (Requirements for Solder & Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Must be a US citizen able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
