Position Overview:

In Madisonville, we are hiring Electronic Maintenance and Repair professionals to install, maintain, layout, construct, diagnose and repair all types of complicated electronic/electrical systems or equipment. This includes data handling and numerically controlled machines, tools and equipment. You will work from complicated schematics, drawings, sketches and use written or verbal instructions. You will receive training on required processes to set you up for success and ensure that you are working at required quality levels. You will also work with teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities resulting in improved quality and production.

Minimum Qualification:

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years experience in maintaining manufacturing machine metal cutting tools or 7 years experience maintaining equipment other than metal cutting tools or
• Associate Degree in Electronics and two (2) years experience on trouble shooting and repair (to pc board component level) of machine tool numerical controls or programmable controls; or 5-7 years experience as described above depending on direct or indirect industrial experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment
• Experience on PLC controls
• Experience on NC controls
• Strong electrical & electronic controls
• Ability to troubleshoot to board level
• Experience on precision servo controls
• Experience on small and medium size spindle amplifiers
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical in order to troubleshoot equipment
