L-E Electric is currently on the lookout for several positive and experienced Journeyman to join our team! $1,500 Sign on Bonus!!

Description:

Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

Work closely with the Foreman, Superintendent of Electrical Construction, and Project Managers in planning the project, tasking labor, assembling material lists and coordinating subcontractor work for construction projects.

Ability to perform a variety of electrical tasks, including complex tasks, with minimal supervision.

Possesses strong understanding of the electrical code in effect on this job and keeps applicable national, state, and municipal code books on the job.

Sets the example for others to follow in all areas of the work including safety, company policies, attitude, conduct and dress.

Knows and strictly enforces all job and company safety rules; sets a good example of safe practices; promptly corrects any potential hazard that can be corrected by the crew; reports other hazards immediately to those responsible; and warns everyone on your crew of possible causes of accidents.

Skills/Requirements

Valid Journeyman's License within NM

Able to work well on a team

Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Strong interpersonal communication skills
