General Summary

This position will ensure standardized manufacturing quality.

Must be able to leverage knowledge of manufacturing processes and understanding of Electrical systems and codes as needed for the improvement of manufacturing processes, expansion of material management, development of manufacturing specific detail drawings, and creation of standard operating procedures. The position will be involved in developing Company's Manufacturing Standards program. This program will be focused on realizing company goals of reducing cost, setting labor standards, improving efficiencies, reducing cycle times, improving throughput, as well as the development of an effective, highly skilled, and technical workforce.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Capture electrical work content activity descriptions to support SAP scheduling processes
• Assist in creating detailed work plans for electrical trade using engineering drawings
• Work with designers on conduit and tray layouts, pre-fab drawings, structural supports, and BOMs
• Initiation EFX Manufacturing’s training and qualifications program as well as new hire orientation process
• Creation of detailed work instructions and standardized operating procedures
• Identifying new tools, equipment, and methods to support manufacturing improvement
• Subject matter expert for electrical trade; support assembly supervisors on technical questions and issues involving electrical issues, industry standards, and customer specifications
• Improvement of tracking, cost management, and waste reduction of electrical materials

Job Specifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma; 2-year degree or professional certificate preferred
• Understanding of packaging Process and Gas Compression units
• Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred
• Experience with and thorough knowledge of NEC and IEC requirements for power and instrument wiring
• Able to read P&ID’s and GA drawings to plan electrical layouts and create material take-offs
• Minimum 4-years’ experience as an electrician in the oil and gas industry or manufacturing
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving methodologies preferred
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Visio, Word, and Excel)
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Flexibility, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technical training experience

Experience:

• Professional Certificate (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
