Role : Electrical Engineer – PCBA
Location : Marietta, OH (Onsite)
Duration : 6-12+ Months
Job Description:The Electrical Engineer - PCBA is a key member of the Sustaining Engineering team responsible for the technical management and maintenance of our PCBAs. They will drive risk mitigation efforts, cost savings initiatives, and resolve quality issues.
A Day in the Life:
· Work closely with R&D, product development, quality, and procurement to mitigate risk in our products related to the electrical systems.
· Troubleshooting non-conforming PCBAs, testers (both on-site and remote at CMs), and other electrical related issues during manufacturing.
· Identify risk components and designs and provide alternate component or design solutions.
· Primary focus will be on PCBA's, with additional opportunities supporting other electrical projects.
Keys to Success:
Education –
· Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with PCBA experience.
Experience:
· BS with 4+ years of experience, or, MS with 3+ years of experience: hands on product design, product development, and manufacturing experience.
· Experience in either: PCBA Design and/or component engineering.
· Strong project management skills.
· Experience dealing with electromechanical devices that are supervised by third party agencies such as FDA, NSF, CSA, UL, ISO 13485 standard and others in the medical products industry. Medical device experience preferred.
· Proficiency in PCBA CAD Design software (PADs, Altium, OrCAD).
· Understanding of phase gate development processes and methodologies across multiple fields and subject matters is preferred.
· Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Component Engineering, PCBA layout and EMC mitigation.
· Can work without direct supervision under ambiguous demands within a global organization.
· Sophisticated technical writing skills to produce reports and documents.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
