opening! If you have experience in electrical systems design, test, analysis, and documentation, this is a role for you! Here you will work with the mechanical, software, signal processing, and project management teams. Job Responsibilities include:

  • Systems Design & Integration (60%)
  • Here you can integrate ENSCO standard products to meet contract deliverables. Create system documentation, including schematics, chassis wire diagrams, cable design, power budgets, grounding diagrams, and BOMs.
  • Engineering Support (30%)
  • Resolve complex system performance issues through multidisciplinary engineering and data analysis. Create and maintain product assembly and system configuration documentation. Provide engineering support to Production and Service groups.
  • New Product Design & Integration (10%)
  • Integrate new technologies through design,analysis, and testing. Specify electrical components,sensors, computers, cables, and other hardware.Define product requirements and interfaces to mechanical and software groups.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of system level design experience
  • System component specification experience including computers, computer networks, interface cards, sensors,and cabling.
  • Electrical, mechanical, software systems integration experience
  • Electrical design documentation experience.
  • Experience with real-time data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to climb a ladder 15 feet high to gain access to railway cars / track inspection cars when they are not parked at a platform.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications Desired

  • Experience with AutoCAD Inventor or AutoCAD Electrical design software
  • Experience with document management and control software
  • Railway industry experience
  • Design experience with digital, analog, and real time data acquisition systems.
  • Design experience with sensor interfaces and signal conditioning.
  • Design experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control
  • PLC or firmware programming experience.
  • UL, CE, or similar compliance work
