Electrical Controls Engineer

Reporting to: Controls Manager
Location: Fort Collins, CO 80525
Terms: Permanent Full Time
Salary: $80.000 - $100.000 Anually

Responsibilities:
• Automation PLC programming using

ted systems using EPLAN and Electrical
AutoCAD,

• including electrical panel design and

creation of a bill of materials.

• Provide system support to the Final Test

department.

• Provide remote support to Field Service

Technicians and customers.

• Collaborate and exchange best practices

with the controls team in Switzerland.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail, highly orga-

nized, and savvy both electrically and
mechanically.

• Experience with PLCs, industrial commu-

nication networks, motion control, and

system disciplines of sensing, machine
intelligence, and actuation.

• Experience creating and reviewing elect-

rical designs and specifications.

• Experience using EPLAN and Electrical

AutoCAD is preferred.

• Experience programming multi-axis

robots (Stäubli, ABB, Motoman).

• Experience with vision systems is pre-

ferred.

• Technical degree is preferred, ideally in

mechanical or electrical engineering or a
similar discipline.

• Experience with OMRON Sysmac Studio

and Beckhoff TwinCAT software is
preferred.

• Domestic and international travel may be

required.

• Preference will be given to candidates

within commuting distance of Fort Col-
lins, Colorado.

and automation technology to produce thin-wall plastic packaging used in the food, medi-
cal, and other industries.

The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for both electrical design and programm-
ing of Muller Technology robot and automation systems, as well as providing support to fi-
nal test engineers, field service technicians, and customers. The ideal candidate will have at
least two years of experience in electrical design, control systems engineering, and indust-
rial automation.A technical degree is preferred, ideally in mechanical or electrical enginee-
ring or a similar discipline. A highly supportive work environment and hands-on training will
be provided for the right candidate.
