Job description
INCODEL is seeking an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer to support the development and management of automotive electrical and electronic systems for PHEV and BEV product lines as well as vehicle wire harnesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interact with OEM and/or suppliers to ensure proper operation of components in vehicles
- Analyze and evaluate customer specifications
- Provide vehicle systems and electrical engineering expertise to cross-functional team
- Troubleshoot electronic subsystems and vehicle electrical systems and determine root cause of any issues
- Assist with programs related to electric harness architectures and wiring harness schematics
- Prioritize the completion of tasks and resolutions of issues to ensure compliance to program deliverables
- Utilize software tools to measure performance of PHEV and BEV systems
- Participate in failure mode and effect analysis of system components
- Create and update component test plans, work instructions and other procedures
- Manage multiple tasks and support Engineering department
- Other related duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of automotive industry experience is strong preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems required
