The EHR & IT Specialist will be a member of the NaphCare Information Technology Team located on-site in Tucson, AZ. The objective is to successfully maintain the clinical and operational functionality of the TechCare EHR Solution and underlying IT Infrastructure. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between our customer and NaphCare’s EHR Development and IT Operations teams, focusing on driving the progression and long-term successful use of the TechCare EHR System.

The preferred candidate will have a proven history of Project Leadership and hands-on EHR and IT Experience. The ideal candidate also has basic technical awareness.

Performance Expectations:

• Client-facing liaison in-between EHR Development Team and Customer Clinical Operations

• Work directly with clinical operations to refine and approve features and revisions

• Formalize and manage training and documentation processes

• Requirements gathering activities for EHR

• Assist in managing and following through with Customer client support tickets.

• Collaboratively manage the NaphCare and Customer systems users and their access needs

• Perform as the boots on the ground to support NaphCare IT Operations or 3rd party contractors who need to access on-site equipment for troubleshooting and resolution

• Attendance at industry events and involvement in TechCare User Groups

Position Details:

• Minimum 4 years experience within EHR and IT domains

• Proficiency using EHR software systems; super-user experience is strongly preferred

• Proficiency in general information technology, software, and technical concepts is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills, with both internal and external clients and vendor partners

• Experience working in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

• High level of comfort with learning, building, and applying skills in both public forums and technical areas

• Adeptness at translating technical language and concepts to end users, as well as clinical workflows back to technical terms

• Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects or features towards known goals with minimal supervision
