The Project Engineer - Efficiency Tools will represent service in development of new service tools. as well as new tools in support of new products. This position will use the design for service principles to ensure that safety, serviceability, and service business goals are met. The position will liaison with PMO and service operation to successfully deploy the tool. This position will collaborate with global technical leads to ensure consistency in execution and service readiness for service tools and product.

Responsibilities:

Efficiency Tools

• Represent North America team within the Global Business unit for tool requirement gatherings and development.
• Lead deployment of the Efficiency Tools like Connected CE . Lead field UAT, deployment planning, and Training.
• Work with developers of the Connected CE platform for knowledge migration and development.
• Support Norte h America electronic form development and test for conformity.
• Support migration of electronic forms to Connected CE platform.
• Review and approve UAT script, testing schedule, and provide feedback to developers.
• Interface with R&D Engineering and Product Management for service readiness of tools required for new products.
• Develop service operational and troubleshooting procedures required for new tools
• Collect feedback from the field teams for future electronic form enhancement.
• Seek new technology to bring efficiency and time savings utilizing enhanced tools

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of four years technical degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent training and experience.
• Minimum of three years of field service. Experienced in service tools is a plus.
• Experience in data center power equipment is a must
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate and present material to Executive Management.
• Possess a positive attitude and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Proficient PC skills including all Microsoft Office products and web-based technologies.
