Position Title: Carrier Connections/EDI Implementation Specialist
MUST HAVE EDI exp; former carrier connections associate. WFN exp
EDI exp; has been exposed to WFN by working for a broker or insurance vendor as the EDI resource
Position Summary: This individual is responsible for implementing new EDI file feeds between WFN and third-party benefits vendors to ensure enrollment and demographic information is transmitted successfully.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for mapping and testing of Carrier Connection File feeds before live production.
Manages the client implementation process.
- Effectively manage a high volume of concurrent connection projects in various stages of implementation.
- Works independently and makes decisions impacting the scope, and direction of the connection implementation.
- Provide technical guidance on account structures, review and analyze carrier file specs, code/map new EDI files, and review test files.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders throughout the connection implementation to effectively resolve benefit setup, data, and coding discrepancies.
- Communicates effectively with clients, sales, and third-party vendors to clarify needs, potential issues, and come to a resolution.
- Drives the connection projects by using project management and problem-solving skills. Provides weekly updates on implementation projects.
- Accountable for client satisfaction related to the connection implementation. Accurate and timely project completion results in higher client satisfaction and retention.
Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills required to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze applications and present resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
