Epic Design Labs is looking for an E-Commerce Strategist with Design/Wireframe skills to help consult our clients and grow their online stores.

We are a digital agency specializing in growing e-commerce brands through design, development, and marketing services. Beyond the services we sell though, our mission is to help our clients achieve theirs.

We’re looking for someone who can research, gather ideas, wire-frame out solutions, and pitch our ideas to the client. In general, you’ll be evaluating brands we work with and finding opportunities to improve.

You’ll diagram out the solutions in wireframes and/or a deck on a regular basis, then pitch or assist in pitching the client on our recommendations to propose solutions to grow their business.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. You need to be a problem solver, but you also need to help us and the client find those problems to solve. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

UX Strategy, Design, and Research experience are vital.

You will need to be able to do competitive research and dig through data from platforms like Google Analytics to find opportunities for improvement.

This job is 1 part research/analysis, 1 part design / wireframing, and 1 part consultation.

You must be good with clients, and speak near-perfect English as a result.

The ability to do HIFI mockups is nice to have, but you must be great with some wire-framing tools, to be able to convey your ideas.

Ultimately this position is about using our creativity and data to make a positive impact on online brands.

Responsibilities

• Research competitor sites as needed to assess ways to stand out against them
• Analyze data in platforms like Google Analytics, Lucky Orange, and more, to gather insights.
• Propose solutions to problems and opportunities found.
• Create wireframes as needed
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to clients and developers
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Strategist, UX Researcher, or Designer
• Strong portfolio of projects and examples of successful e-commerce consultation
• Analytical mind with a business acumen
• Always be learning
• Excellent communication skills

• Eye for high-quality design

Skills Needed

• Proficient Figma or other wireframing tools
• Google analytics
• Master of creative solutions
• Design skills in a platform like Figma, sketch, photoshop, canva
