Our nationally-acclaimed design firm seeks an eco-mindful and multitalented AutoCAD draftsperson/designer to serve as design assistant to our two principals. We work with discerning clients who appreciate a highly-personalized landscape based in natural systems. It's an exceptional mentoring opportunity for a beginning Architect, Landscape Architect/Design, or Interior Designer - or for a seasoned professional who wants to take their talents to the next level. The Salsbury-Schweyer, Inc mission is “healing people, place, and planet” through landscapes that are both consciously designed and ecologically responsible. Our projects are diverse; small and large, private and public, but primarily residential. It’s a small but busy office, requiring you to be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, efficient, and well-organized.

Full-time or Part-time. We especially value diverse talent - someone who brings skills in marketing, writing, photography, horticulture, and/or construction.

Requirements include:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2 or more years of landscape design or architectural drafting experience; knowledge of LandF/X helpful)
• Skillful with presentations: Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, hand sketching, &/or rendering;
• Tech-savvy; including expertise with Microsoft Office, sourcing/research, & social media campaigns.
• Capable of managing a high volume of tasks, sometimes under pressure
• Creative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
