Our program likes to emphasize our students interest! Meaning, we base our activities off our the students interests. Our teachers key role is to observe the children's interest's, and build activities off of them!

Teacher position overview:
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 -3 years working in an early learning environment ECE credentials, or enrolled in ECE program
Portable background check
Negative TB test
BBP training
CPR/1st aid
30 Hours initial STARS training
Safe Sleep
Food handlers card
Proof of MMR vaccine or immunity
Some trainings may be obtained after hire date
Operating hours are 6am to 6pm, shift will be determined upon hire
**Paid holidays

**3 paid in-service days per calendar year
**No out of pocket classroom supply expenses (center purchases all)
**Paid annual trainings

Teacher position overview:
- Lesson Planning
- Provide a positive classroom atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom
- Observe children's interest's and interpret them in to learning experience's
- Document children's growth and progress
- Document incident/injury reports
- Follow licensing procedures
- Follow daily schedule
- Lift up to 50lbs as needed on a regular basis
- Supervise children
- Build a positive relationship with parent's and families
- Attend monthly team meetings
- Plan and implement emergent curriculum
- Bend and stoop on a regular basis
- Maintain yearly/ongoing trainings and certifications as needed
- Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing daily
- Assist with toileting and diapering
- A passion for working with young children
- Sing songs / play games to engage children
