Join our team of experienced child care teachers to provide a nurturing, fun, and educational experience for Toddlers, Twos, Preschool, and Pre K age children. We are also seeking part-time staff members. Please note that our part-time positions are not benefits eligible.

Requirement: Fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or approved exemption (medical contraindications or a sincerely held religious belief) through the formal vaccine exemption process from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement.

The YMCA Crayon Club is located in a quiet and picturesque area near I-64 and Versailles Road in Frankfort.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Teachers work as a team to provide a safe, nurturing, respectful and enriching environment for the children in the program. Teachers use the Creative Curriculum to plan lessons that meet the developmental needs of the children. Teachers and families work together to ensure each child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and build meaningful relationships in our program.

The center is open from 7:30 am to 5:15 pm. Full-time staff work 40 hours per week and are scheduled for nine-hour shifts with one hour for lunch.

Full-time Support Teachers $15/hour

Full-time Lead Teachers $16/hour
