Description: The E&I Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining conduit, electrical systems, instrumentation, and electronic components in a heavy industry application.

Job Duties:
· Run conduit & wire on the ground, in scissor lifts, and in man lifts

· Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using hand tools

· Work from layout drawings, point-to-point wire lists, and wiring diagrams

· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuits
· Work closely with operations to identify priorities and upset conditions that require prompt repair

· Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
· Communicate effective & efficiently all needs to perform job to a high degree
· Work alongside all members of the operation to expedite repairs and learning new skills. This includes but is not limited to withdrawing parts from inventory for the job, identifying materials to be ordered, moving equipment to the work site, working alongside maintenance technicians to expedite repairs on industrial equipment, using hand tools and power tools, and cleaning up after a job is completed.

Job Requirements:
· Must be able to work outdoors, in extreme weather conditions including extreme heat/cold, inclement weather.
· Must wear personal protective equipment on a regular basis, including a hard hat, respirator, hearing protection, safety shoes, coveralls, safety glasses, etc.
· Must be able to work from heights greater than 50 feet, climbing stairs/ladders, in confined spaces, and/or while wearing safety harness or other fall protection systems.
· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently move up to 50 pounds.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
· Mechanical inclination is a plus but not necessary
· Excellent time management, attention to detail, communication skills (verbal and written) and self-motivated.
· Ability to understand and convey verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
· Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations preferred.
· Must maintain a clean and safe work area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
