Position Overview

As the e-Commerce Fulfilment Supervisor, you are responsible for e-Commerce client order fulfillment, in compliance with the HOP and the Dayton Distribution Center company guidelines. You must ensure that internet fulfillment, order verification, packing, and shipping procedures are adhered to and properly followed by all employees assigned to the internet department daily.

In your role, you will assign daily tasks to pickers and packers to fulfill and pack outbound e-Commerce client order requests. This process includes the sorting of pick tickets and related documents associated with each client’s internet order. As part of the fulfillment process, you will also oversee the management, inventory control, and reordering of packaging & document supply items to support internet order processing activities.

The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

  • Daily printing and sorting of e-commerce client orders in the picking area
  • Work closely and communicate in an ongoing manner with DC Management concerning the internet processing area’s personnel needs for picking and packing orders each day
  • Manage the workflow in the e-Commerce packing area by distributing orders to packers throughout the day with a high priority placed upon Express orders (2pm print cut-off) to meet a small package courier pick-up at end of business each day
  • Provide the Corporate e-Commerce team with the order statuses
  • Send timely emails requests to Dayton Transportation, e-Commerce Logistics, and HOP Customer Service concerning High-Value or furniture e-Commerce client orders that must ship via armored carrier or an alternate white glove delivery carrier
  • Assist the department director with the forecasting and ordering of all document and packaging supplies to support the e-Commerce business
  • Supports Order Processing area during peak periods, holidays, and vacation time
  • Reports internal issues with Magento or SCALE to HOP IT and Senior Management promptly via TEAMS and/or Outlook email
  • Oversee and assist in the training of all new hires and temporary staff in internet picking and packing areas
  • Ensures all packing is done accurately while meeting Hermes designated standards
  • Participate in the annual e-commerce area internal audit
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including extended holiday hours during designated periods throughout the year.

About You

  • 2-3 years of relevant or comparable work experience, preferably in the luxury sector, or activities in a similar role and/or department
  • BS or BA Degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail & strong organizational skills
  • An active and continuous learner
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently with internal & external stakeholders in various departments throughout the company’s diverse and growing organization
  • Displays the appropriate level of urgency when addressing and resolving client escalations and actionable customer service requests involving e-Commerce orders
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function
  • Willingness to be trained and certified to operate CROWN WAV machine as well as stand-up and sit-down forklifts / material handling equipment
